Leaded Lights and Stained Glass Window Repairs on Site Repairs

Repairing leaded lights or stained glass on site often depends on the condition of the original lead cames. Where possible we retain as much of the original material as we can, this is a usual requirement for leaded light repairs in listed buildings. Broken glass panes will be removed, matched with glass from our huge stock of out-of-production patterns, or replaced with new glass.

Damage Caused by Heavy Doors

External doors tend to open inwards for security reasons, the door often opens against a wall. Over the years the wear and tear of the door being opened and closed, banged, slammed, shoved, kicked, exposure to weathering etc can cause damage to the stained glass window.
